Milan, 20 November 2023 – With its presence at EICMA 2023, Vmoto confirms its position as a key player in the sustainable and electric urban mobility market. At the Milan Show, the brand presented two new products, the APD Concept developed together with Pininfarina and the new CPx Explorer, and captured the attention of the audience and the trade media with the events organised together with major guests such as Jorge Lorenzo, Dario Marchetti and Michele Pirro.
An edition, that of 2023, that beat all the records set by EICMA in its eighty editions, with truly impressive numbers: in fact, more than 560,000 visitors flocked to the pavilions of the Fiera di Milano, in addition to almost 40,000 trade operators and 7,000 media professionals. A passionate and colourful population, coming from 120 different countries around the world, which guaranteed the more than 700 exhibitors an unparalleled and unprecedented showcase.
Vmoto did not waste the opportunity of course, having prepared a calendar of events that could maximise the possibilities offered by such a large and international audience and at the same time entertain the fans.
The first event was the official presentation of APD Concept, the second chapter in the collaboration between Vmoto and Pininfarina, which took place on the morning of Tuesday 7 November in the presence of Charles Chen, CEO of Vmoto International, Graziano Milone, President & Global CMO of Vmoto International, and Ivan Teo, Finance and Executive Director of Vmoto International. Also on stage to lift the veil on the new, aerodynamic creature were Giuseppe Bonollo, Senior Vice President and Sale & Marketing Director of Pininfarina, and Felix Kilbertus, Chief Creative Officer.
Wednesday 8 was instead dedicated entirely to the celebration of the CPx, the best seller in the Vmoto range. First of all, Sky Sport MotoGP journalist Vera Spadini welcomed and celebrated on stage the protagonists of the Guinness World Record conquest for the greatest distance covered by an electric vehicle over 24 hours, achieved a few days before the start of EICMA riding the CPx PRO. Finally, Graziano Milone and Ivan Teo unveiled to the public the new CPx Explorer, designed by the C-Creative design studio, in the presence of creative director Adrian Morton and CEO Paolo Bianchi.
And if the first two days were dedicated to Vmoto products, the third was certainly dedicated to the brand’s friends. In the morning, in fact, Graziano Milone and Vera Spadini welcomed on stage Jorge Lorenzo, Vmoto Official Testimonial, for the launch of two funny and engaging videos starring Dirt Bike Off-R and VS3. In the afternoon instead, the public flocked around the stand to attend an unmissable talk where Jorge Lorenzo, Dario Marchetti and, as a surprise, Michele Pirro answered questions from journalists and fans.
From Friday to Sunday the enthusiastic presence of the visitors was constant on the Vmoto stand, who admired the modern and elegant lines of the APD Concept and, as is traditional at EICMA, tried to get on the saddle of the models in the range, for a selfie or to imagine what it would be like to ride them on the road.
With the official after movie, Vmoto wants to relive together with everyone the emotions of a special week and thank all those who made it such – from the guests to the spectators in Milan, giving everyone an appointment at EICMA 2024.
